Free Film Screening Thurs. Jan. 19 – Through the Night
The Appreciating Diversity Film Series (ADFS) is pleased to present a FREE screening of  Through the Night. This intimate cinema verite production features working mothers whose lives intersect at a 24-hour daycare center: a mother working the overnight shift at a pediatric hospital, another holding three jobs to support her family, and the woman who cares for the children whose parents have nowhere else to turn.
The screening and discussion will take place Thursday, January 19, at the Ellen Driscoll Playhouse, 325 Highland Avenue, Piedmont, CA. The speaker will be Kym Johnson, CEO of Bananas, the East Bay’s premier child care and family resources program.
ADFS is an all-volunteer non-profit organization supported by the Piedmont Anti-Racism and Diversity Committee, the Piedmont Adult School, the City of Piedmont, the Piedmont Chapter of the League of Women Voters, and individual donors.
